Blockchain project PulseChain, led by Richard Heart, has been flagged by TRM Labs, a blockchain intelligence firm connected to the US Department of Justice (DOJ). TRM is a specialist in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing compliance for blockchain-based businesses. Speculation has arisen indicating that the DOJ may look to charge Heart with securities and wire fraud violations. This is not the first time PulseChain has generated concern among the crypto community, as the legitimacy of the project has been called into question before. At this time, no charges have been filed, but more information is expected to come out shortly.
