MakerDAO, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform, has added $100 million in real-world asset (RWA) assets through BlockTower Andromeda over the past two days. The funds were primarily invested in short-term US Treasury bonds with an annual interest rate of 4.5%. With this addition, MakerDAO’s RWA assets now total approximately $2.7 billion. This move highlights the growing interest in DeFi and the increasing importance of diversified investment strategies within the DeFi ecosystem.
