Su Zhu, co-founder of collapsed crypto fund Three Arrows Capital, faced questioning in a Singapore court this week over the firm’s collapse. Zhu was arrested in September for failing to cooperate with the winding-up process and spent four months in jail. Lawyers for liquidator Teneo sought details on how the fund failed and the whereabouts of assets during the two-day hearing. Zhu and co-founder Kyle Davies are accused of failing to cooperate with the probe, and Teneo is seeking to recover $1.3 billion from the pair. Three Arrows imploded in 2022 as leveraged bets blew up, sparking a $2 trillion crypto rout. Davies’ whereabouts are unknown, and Teneo is in contact with authorities around the world to locate him. Zhu and Davies have not faced criminal charges in Singapore.
